The LSU Tigers hadn’t started the 2016 college football season on a high note. An embarrassing loss to Wisconsin was followed by murmurs yet again for the firing of head coach Les Miles. It seems the folks in Baton Rouge need something to raise their spirits for the 2016 season. Well, the Bayou Bengals may have something to be excited for in the form of their new alternate uniforms.

LSU seems to be bringing in a strong gold feature into these uniforms. That stems from the alternate primary color that the Tigers use as well as hinting at New Orleans deep culture with that unique color palette.
