LOOK: Michigan player displays lack of class following blowout loss at Penn State

On Saturday night, Michigan had a chance to pick up a signature win by going to Penn State and beating the No. 2 Nittany Lions on their home turf. But, that was the furthest thing from the case as Saquan Barkley and Trace McSorley ran all over the highly rated Wolverines defense on way to a 42-13 whooping in front of a “Whiteout” in Happy Valley.

Following the game, something happened that no Wolverines fan should be proud of. In fact, they should be pissed off.

In the photo below, cornerback Lavert Hill shows exactly how classy he is (not very) by flipping the double bird to the Nittany Lions fans.

Hill may only be 19-years-old, but there is absolutely no excuse for him doing what he did after Saturday's loss. Hopefully, Jim Harbaugh sits this young man down and explains to him exactly what Michigan football is all about.

Class.

  1. In todays LIBERAL SOCIETY….this kind of display is okay….. right??? I mean he is just very upset and its his feelings that matter. Not that someone gets offended by his actions.

  2. The one thing that the athletes need drummed into their heads is that this is not a football game played on the sandlots. There is money involved here and these young men represent the university (no matter the name of the university). As arepresentative, they have to learn to win with class and lose with class. Part of life’s lessons and why they are in college, presumably to learn.

  3. Agree. No place for that at all, just like there is no place really, for driving 7 times without your drivers license. Both players in these situations ought to be held accountable and missing game time ought be part of the equation.
