Though it is not yet confirmed by either team it sure does sound like just a matter of time before the Detroit Lions trade for defensive lineman Damon Harrison is “official.”
News broke of the trade on Wednesday morning, a trade that has the Lions sending a fifth-round draft pick to the New York Giants for Harrison and many Lions fans lost their minds on social media.
Though Lions’ head coach Matt Patricia said the rumored trade is not complete, a couple of recent tweets from Harrison’s Twitter account indicate he is coming to the Motor City.
First, Harrison tweeted a goodbye message to his fans in New York/New Jersey.

He followed that up with a tweet to his new city.

Harrison just may be the best run-stopping defensive lineman in the entire NFL which makes this an A+ move for Lions GM Bob Quinn.

Predicting the winner of the Detroit Lions final 10 games
On Sunday, the Detroit Lions dealt with the heat just fine as they went on the road and defeated the Miami Dolphins 32-21.
With the victory, the Lions are now 3-3 and within striking distance of first place in the NFC North.
Looking ahead, the schedule looks a bit demanding and depending on whether or not they can navigate the storm will dictate if the Lions can make run at the NFC North crown.

(W) WEEK 8 – vs. Seattle Seahawks
Russell Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and he will likely have a big game against the Lions defense. That being said, the Seahawks are no longer a defensive powerhouse and Matthew Stafford will be slinging it around in this game as the Lions move to 4-3.
