In 2013, the Detroit Lions signed running back Reggie Bush and the fan base was excited. That season, Bush was outstanding for the Lions as he rushed for 1,006 yards to go along with 506 receiving yards.

But Bush was not the only solid running back the Lions had that season as Joique Bell also put up some nice stats, rushing for 650 yards and catching passes for an additional 547 yards.
As Bush pointed out on Twitter on Wednesday, he and Bell are the only teammates in NFL history to each accumulate 500+ yards rushing and 500+ yards receiving in the same season.
But Bush did not just leave it there. Instead, he made sure to remind everyone that the Lions ended cutting both players “because they wanted to go cheaper.”
And then we got cut because they wanted to go cheaper 😂🤷🏾♂️ pic.twitter.com/vcvIRLFMOR

In the 2014 season, Bush rushed for just 297 yards in 11 games (9 starts) before the Lions moved on from him.
