Later this month, all 30 Major League Baseball teams will be sporting some very nifty uniforms as part of their inaugural “Players Weekend.” The joint announcement came on Wednesday from both MLB and the Players’ Association.

Have a look at all 30 uniforms.

As Brandon Champion of MLive points out, the “player-focused event will take place throughout the weekend and will include nicknames on the backs of jerseys,” complete with custom-made gear.

Check out the uniforms for the Detroit Tigers and all the various nicknames that will be on display.

Tigers pitcher Michael Fulmer, aka “Fulm Piece,” shared his thoughts on the weekend-long event.

“I know everybody’s having fun talking about what guys are doing on the back of their jerseys,” Tigers pitcher Michael Fulmer told MLB.com. “Whether or not some of it goes down, I don’t know. But it’ll be a good time. It’s something different. I don’t think it’ll be a bad thing.”

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred also released a statement, discussing the ultimate meaning and goal behind the movement.

“The journey from youth leagues to Major League Baseball is one that players don’t take alone,” Commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement. “Major League players have been supported by family members, coaches and organizations that helped them develop their unique skills and overcome challenges to reach the highest level of the sport.”

“These games will allow the players to thank those who were important in their lives while showcasing their personality in a fun way that fits baseball’s community-driven focus.”

“Players Weekend” will take place on August 25-27. During that time, the Tigers will be on the road taking on the Chicago White Sox. All of the game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off and all proceeds will be donated to the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation.
