Since I began writing for Detroit Sports Nation about two and a half years ago, I’ve probably started off a piece with the words, “just when I thought I’d seen it all” at least a dozen times. I guess when taking into account that I’ve written roughly 2,500 pieces in that time (siren), a dozen is not too bad. That being said, each time I write those words, I stop for a second and slap myself in the face. No, seriously, I do.
Well, here we go again…
Just when I thought I’d seen it all…OUCH!!!

If you happen to follow minor league baseball, you have definitely seen your fair share of crazy themed jerseys.
But this time, the West Michigan Whitecaps have lapped the competition (whether good or bad is up to you) with their idea to wear “Snapchat Selfie” jerseys against the Dayton Dragons on Thursday, June 29.
Take a look for yourself.

June 29th just so happens to be “Social Media Night” and the game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. The jersey itself is made up of fan submitted Snapchat selfies that were submitted back in March.
Nation, what do you make of these crazy themed jerseys? Creative, or too over the top for baseball? They are definitely unique!
