As one of the greatest all-around hitters of all time, it probably takes something pretty special to impress Miguel Cabrera, especially when it comes to hitting a baseball.
Well, according to reports, that’s exactly what happened on Friday as Detroit Tigers‘ No. 1 pick Riley Greene was in town to sign his contract.

After signing on the dotted line, Greene took batting practice at Comerica Park and Miggy was watching closely as the 18-year-old proceeded to hit one onto the PepsiPorch.
Cabrera’s response to Greene’s batting practice performance included some advice for the Tigers.
“He’s 18, for real? Leave him here. We need him,” said Cabrera.

That is some pretty high praise coming from a future Hall of Famer.
