With the 2015-2016 NHL season right around the corner, we thought it would be a good time to take a look at some of the more extraordinary plays of the 2014-2015 NHL season. We will start it off with the Red Wings young goaltender in the playoffs.
With the Detroit Red Wings already down 2-0 to Tampa Bay in game six of the first round of the playoffs, goaltender Petr Mrazek made what was easily the best save of the first round, and perhaps of the playoffs. Brian Boyle was able to split the defense and get an open look at the net. After a slick move, it appeared that a goal was all but certain. What happened next had to be seen to believe.
Hockey is only a couple of weeks away fans, it is time to get pumped!
