For the second consecutive game, the Nashville Predators and Carolina Hurricanes required double overtime in their first round Stanley Cup Playoffs series.
And once again, it’s the Nashville Predators who walk away with the victory.
Luke Kunin scored his second goal of the game, converting in the slot on a centering pass at 16:10 of 2OT, tying the series at two games apiece:

The Predators got the scoring going less than a minute into regulation, courtesy of Luke Kunin’s first goal of the playoffs. Following Vincent Trocheck’s tying tally late in the first period, the two teams would trade goals in the 2nd and 3rd periods, leading to the second overtime game of the series.
Juuse Saros finished with 58 saves, a team record. Meanwhile, Alex Nedeljkovic finished with 39 saves for Carolina.
Game 5 will be in Raleigh at PNC Arena on Tuesday night.
