Madden NFL 20 is coming on August 2

If you’ve always dreamed of playing with the Detroit Lions or at least training them, you can do so virtually from August 2nd thanks to Madden NFL 20 coming out on Playstation 4, PC and Xbox One. Like every year, we are ready to bet, maybe on sportsbooks in New Jersey, on the great success of the game, but what’s new compared to the previous edition? We will try to give you the full picture in the next paragraphs…

Madden NFL 20 will be showcasing Patrick Mahomes, last season’s rising star and MVP, as his own cover-man. Mahomes’ presence has inspired a completely rethought career mode, which will put the player in the shoes of a young quarterback first grappling with the playoffs of the student championship, then taking his first steps in the professional league and finally getting to the sporting glory. Unlike the previous Longshot, where the plot proceeded through rigidly predefined situations, the new campaign “Face of the Franchise: QB1” promises a highly customizable and dynamic development, in which the choices made will determine the next events.

Another interesting news coming for the title of Electronic Arts is the introduction of the so-called “X-Factor”, a quality reserved for a few superstars, so as to highlight even in the simulation their more unique than rare qualities!

In addition, with regard to the Ultimate Team mode, EA said it would make it easier for players to assemble their team of dreams, providing new daily missions allowing gamers to collect credits and players more easily.

From a technical point of view, the development team has added many new animations and refined all the players’ models for an even more realistic visual representation that can be mistaken for a real NFL game on TV!

The game, which boasts the National Football League’s full exclusive license, will be available in multiple versions with a Standard Edition, a Superstar Edition, and an Ultimate Superstar Edition, with plenty of extra content for the Ultimate Team mode and three-day advance access.

Who knows if a video game will also arrive for The X Football League, better known by the acronym XFL, the U.S. professional league founded by the owner of the WWE Vince McMahon. After his failure in the late 90s, the dear old Vince wants to try again to be a direct competitor for the NFL.

According to the information available to date, the first season of the new XFL will start with 8 teams and on the weekend of 8 and 9 February 2020 (basically the weekend after the Super Bowl) with the first game in the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The matches will last two hours, there will be no break and the game, according to McMahon himself, will be faster and more suitable for families.

The teams will be composed of 40 athletes, in the first season, there will be a total of 13 games, all during the 7 months when the NFL will not play. According to rumors, in this project, Vince McMahon has invested a sum very close to $ 100 million, with the clear goal of turning the XFL into a success and a viable alternative to the NFL. In a few months, we will find out if this is the case or not.
