The Detroit Red Wings are involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan, a group that grants the wishes of terminally ill children.
Not surprisingly, there have been wishes granted to meet GM Steve Yzerman:

The legendary captain-turned-executive is set to be the foundation’s keynote speaker later this month for a live stream video on Facebook and YouTube.
He sat down with Make-A-Wish alum Amber for a funny trivia session:
