On Tuesday, reports surfaced that the NFL had set up a workout for quarterback Colin Kaepernick. The workout is open to all NFL teams and will be held in Atlanta on Saturday.
With Matthew Stafford nursing a fractured back, there has been plenty of back-and-forth amongst fans about whether or not Kaepernick would be a good fit with the Lions.
On Wednesday, Lions head coach Matt Patricia was asked about whether or not the Lions would be one of the teams in attendance for the Kaepernick workout.
Patricia noted that they always do their due diligence on all players and that the Lions will be represented at Kaepernick’s workout.
