On Sunday, the Detroit Lions will host the Dallas Cowboys at the friendly (temperature controlled) confines of Ford Field.

Despite an indoor game being just two days away, Lions head coach Matt Patricia made the decision to practice outdoors, in sub-freezing weather, on Friday.
Patricia said the reason for Friday's outdoor practice is because practicing on field turf the past couple days has taken its toll.
From MLive:
“Been (inside) on the turf the last couple days and some guys are a little bit sore,” Patricia said, “so trying to get on the grass. A little bit of a wind, but other than that, should be OK.”
Though the temperature in Allen Park was below freezing at the start of practice, quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was not participating, was reportedly wearing short sleeves.
Considering Stafford just had a nasty cold, we would assume his mother would not be too happy if she knew he was playing outside in the snow without a coat on!
