Earlier in the week, the Detroit Lions dropped a bombshell by announcing they had traded safety Quandre Diggs to the Seattle Seahawks for a fifth-round draft pick.
Following the announcement, Lions CB Darius Slay took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with the trade.

On Thursday, Slay spoke to media members and he shared his thoughts on Diggs being shipped out of town for a draft pick.
From Detroit Free Press:
“It basically say it don’t matter who you is,” Slay said. “No matter how much you put in, at the end of the day it’s a business so that’s how I just look at it. Nobody’s safe, in my opinion.”
“We’ve been playing together five years,” Slay said. “Shoot, team captain, so I mean, for that to happen it’s kind of crazy but I guess that’s the business part of it. That was crazy, though.”
Slay added that he had not yet spoken to Bob Quinn or Matt Patricia about the trade, noting that he does not have a relationship with them.
“I ain’t talking to neither one of them about that,” Slay said. “That’s they problem. I’m working. That’s all I do. I work. There’s not no kind of relationship or nothing like that, just I’m here, I work here, this is my job. I got to do my job.”
On Friday, Patricia was asked about Slay’s comments and he confirmed that he still has not talked to his star cornerback about one of his best friends being traded.

Seems a bit odd that Patricia has not yet taken the time to speak to Slay, especially considering how upset he is that Diggs is no longer a Lion.
