Within the past hour or so (depending on when you are reading this), a bit of news broke that I have been predicting since not long after Thanksgiving.
The news I speak of is that former Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia is returning to the New England Patriots.
According to Jim McBride Patricia will assist the Patriots coaching staff “in a variety of roles” with one of those roles having to do with evaluating player personnel.
Following the news, a number of fans (who I assume to be Lions’ fans) took to Twitter to take a shot a Patricia and to poke fun at the hire.
