The Detroit Tigers took care of several housekeeping moves today, avoiding artibration with Joe Jimenez and Daniel Norris and reaching new contract agreements.
And now they've just reached their largest new contract agreement with LHP Matthew Boyd on a new $6.5 million deal, a raise from last year's salary of $5.3 million:

Boyd was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays, and was sent to the Motor City as part of the package to acquire David Price in 2015. 2020 wasn't a campaign to remember for Boyd, as he had the American League's worst ERA at 6.71. Additionally, he led the AL in losses and home runs surrendered.
The Tigers also reached new deals with Buck Farmer and Niko Goodrum at $1.85 million and $2.1 million, respectively.
After being drafted by the Tigers in 2013, Farmer has compiled a career record of 15-21 with an ERA of 5.20 with 255 strikeouts. Goodrum has compiled a career batting average of .234 with 118 RBI and 33 HR.
