The Detroit Tigers were finally able to get a giant monkey off their backs on Friday night, defeating the Cleveland Indians in come-from-behind fashion to snap a 20 game winless skid against their divisional opponents.
Tonight, they’ll be looking for their second straight win vs. the Tribe, and they’ll be sending pitcher Matthew Boyd to the mound. Though Boyd has struggled this season, it certainly would be a confidence booster for him to turn in a good performance.
