Prior to getting injured in 2019, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was playing like one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. Unfortunately, Stafford did get hurt and he had to miss the final eight games of the season.
The Lions (and the fans) are crossing our fingers that Stafford can stay healthy for the full 2020 season and that they can make a run at winning the NFC North.
For that to happen, Stafford is going to have to play at an MVP level for the entire season.
According to Bovada, Stafford is currently a +5000 (50-1) to win the MVP in 2020. Not surprisingly, Patrick Mahomes is the favorite at +400.
Nation, will you be placing some money on Stafford?
