Through two preseason games, Detroit Lions‘ quarterback Matthew Stafford has not yet taken a single snap.

In addition to not playing in the games, Stafford has already had enough predetermined days off that many are wondering if something could be wrong. Is he still recovering from the back injury he suffered towards the end of the 2018 season? Or maybe the Lions are just being as cautious as they can be with their most important player.
On Monday, Stafford was asked about why he has missed practice and preseason games and his answer was pretty simple.
“When they tell me to play I’m going to play,” Stafford said.

Stafford also told reporters that his back is not the reason why he has missed so much time.
What do you think, Nation? Do you agree with the Lions’ plan so far to hold Stafford out of preseason games?
