Matthew Stafford has a new toy.
Heading into the offseason, everybody knew that one of the Detroit Lions‘ biggest needs was a wide receiver or two.
Many fans (and local writers) begged for the Lions to sign Allen Robinson, who is from the Detroit area (Orchard Lake St. Mary's H.S.).
Instead, the Lions decided to go out and sign WR D.J. Chark to a 1-year prove-it deal (which I suggested) rather than going hard after Robinson.
Well, according to reports, Robinson has decided to sign with the Los Angeles Rams, which is sure to upset many Lions fans.
The financials have not yet been released but they will certainly be interesting.
