One of biggest reasons (probably the biggest) for the Lions struggles in 2019 was the loss of starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, who miss the final eight games of the season with a broken back.
On Monday, Stafford spoke to the media and he said he will “definitely” be ready to roll by the time the Lions offseason programs begin.
When asked about what he would say to Lions fans concerned about him, Stafford said he is concerned and he is the one with the injured back.
Matthew Stafford says his back feels better and that he'll be ready to go when the offseason activities pick back up in a few months. Also, has a message for fans who are wondering how he'll fare after two different back injuries. #Lions pic.twitter.com/ffJUkqQwbR
