During the Detroit Lions crazy 30-27 win over the Washington Football Team on Sunday, quarterback Matthew Stafford spoke to reporters revealed some concerning news.
According to Stafford, he will have an X-ray performed on his right thumb after he injured it during today’s game.
Though we are not positive when Stafford injured his thumb, we believe it came on the play when he was hit hard, forcing his helmet to fly off.
(Note: Stafford confirmed that the injury did come on that play)

Stafford did not miss any time and was able to lead the Lions on a game-winning drive, so even if there is an issue with his thumb, we would assume he will be able to play in Week 11.
Stay tuned.
