Matthew Stafford had 38 game-winning drives while he was the quarterback of the Detroit Lions but none of them were as big as the one he had on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Rams saw a 27-3 lead evaporate quickly as Tom Brady worked his magic to tie the game at 27 apiece with under a minute remaining in the game.
But, as Stafford has done so many times before, he marched straight down the field and the Rams eventually drilled a field goal to win 30-27 and advance to the NFC Championship Game against the 49ers.
Following the game, Stafford said his heart was racing on the game-winning drive but that he loves those situations.
“I love those situations,” Stafford told reporters. “I hate the way we got to it tonight…but at the same time finding a way to win a football game is what it’s all about.”

Matthew Stafford says his heart was racing but they have a group of guys in that locker room that all believe in each other.
