When Matthew Stafford was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, the first thought by many was, ‘what will Stafford do when he is finally on a good team with a good coaching staff?’
Well, it’s only one game but on Sunday night, Stafford absolutely torched the Chicago Bears as the Rams opened up their campaign with an easy win over the Chicago Bears.
Many Detroit Lions fans are bummed to see Stafford on another team and to rub salt in their wounds even further, the long-time Lions QB set a couple of career highs during Sunday night’s win.
In fact, Stafford had the highest passer rating of his career (156.1) as he averaged a whopping 11.1 yards per attempt, which is also a personal best.
Nation, whether you loved Stafford in Detroit or hated him, you are going to have to sit back and watch exactly what we have been telling you for years. He is a great QB.
