Matthew Stafford teams up with Kirby Smart to endow $500,000 towards social justice program

According to a press release from the University of Georgia, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly have joined forces with Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart and his wife Mary Beth to endow a new social justice program for UGA athletics.

The press release notes that the Stafford's have donated $350,00 while the Smart's have donated $150,000.

Matthew and Kelly have done so much for the community so it comes as little surprise that they chose to step up for such an important cause.

DAN ORLOVSKY SAYS MATTHEW STAFFORD COULD LEAVE THE DETROIT LIONS IN 2021

Ok, I have had just about enough of the “Matthew Stafford is leaving the Detroit Lions” and “The Detroit Lions are going to trade Matthew Stafford” make-believe bull-honky, just as many of you have. That being said, when Dan Orlovskywho is a good friend of Stafford, talks about Matthew potentially playing elsewhere in the very near future, it’s worth listening to.

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press recently spoke to Orlovsky about Stafford’s chances of making the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Orlovsky seems extremely confident.

“I don’t think it’s even going to be a question,” he said.

Orlovsky said he believes Stafford will either win with the Lions in 2020 or a winning team will trade for him prior to the 2021 season.
