The Detroit Lions had their chance.
With a win over the depleted Carolina Panthers on Sunday, the Lions would have moved to 5-5 on the season, putting themselves right in the playoff hunt, but instead, they managed to lose to a team whose quarterback’s last start was in the XFL.

It has to be frustrating to trail a below-average team 17-0 in the fourth quarter and from the looks of it, nobody was more frustrated than Lions quarterback, Matthew Stafford.
Take a look as Stafford yelled some choice words after getting sacked twice in the Lions’ final drive.
A texter claims he was seen on TV yelling “this is f**king bull sh*t”
Can anyone confirm this and why won’t he say this publicly?

This was after picking up the 4th and 2. Then the following plays were:
1st & 10 – sacked by Brian Burns (who came in untouched)
2nd & 17 – sacked by Kerr & Gross-Matos
3rd & 20 – bad pass but dropped by Kerryon on the screen
4th & 20 – incomplete pass to Marvin Jones— Russell Brown (@RussNFLDraft) November 22, 2020
Whether or not Stafford actually said the words Jeff Riger of 97.1 The Ticket is claiming, who knows, but the Lions signal-caller was clearly upset.
