During the Detroit Lions 31-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Matthew Stafford took a big hit that pretty much bent his body in ways it is not intended to bend. Following the play, it was obvious that Stafford was in pain, but he stayed in the game for one more play, which resulted in a touchdown.
Unfortunately, that was the last play Stafford would play in the game as he was forced to sit out the remainder of the contest with an injured rib.
After the game was over, Stafford had X-rays and though we still do not know a definitive diagnosis, Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Lions signal-caller is in an “unbelievable amount of pain.”
Rapoport also noted that there is a “possibility we could see Chase Daniel down the stretch for the Lions.”

Nation, is it possible that Matthew Stafford has taken his final snap with the Detroit Lions?
