May is ‘National TV Month’ for Tigers

The Detroit Tigers will dominate the Sunday Night Baseball games on ESPN this  May. ESPN released the schedule and has Detroit in 3 out of 5 featured games that month. The 4-peat Central Division Champions will be nationally televised for games with Kansas City, St. Louis, and the Los Angeles Angels on May 10, 17, and 31 respectively. These are excellent match ups that should provide some drama as all of those teams have been in the postseason conversation recently. The first game on May 3 will feature the Yankees and the Red Sox, because, who hasn’t seen those two teams play against each other before?

Up in the broadcast booth the ESPN team returns Dan Shulman with the play by play along with Curt Schilling and John Kruk providing analysis. Buster Olney returns as the special reporter.
