It is no secret that Deshaun Watson wants out of the Houston Texans organization. In fact, it has gotten to the point that Watson, according to reports, wants out no matter who the organization ends up hiring to be the team’s next head coach.
Well, if Sylvester Turner, the Mayor of Houston has anything to say about it, Watson will be with the Texans for a long time.
On Sunday afternoon, Turner tweeted out a message to make sure that Watson knows the city loves him and that they have his back.
Houston loves Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans,” Turner tweeted. “Houston is a great City that is hungry to back our players and team. As Mayor of a City that is second to none I pray we move forward together.”

This may be too little too late to keep Watson in Houston but you have to respect the effort by the Mayor!
