The Michigan State Spartans may not have reached their goal of winning the Big Ten Championship but they did finish third in the Big Ten East, which is higher than most expected.
On Saturday, the Spartans capped off their 2021 regular season with a big win over Penn State in East Lansing.
Following the game, Mel Tucker spoke to the media and he made it clear that he wants to bring a National Championship to East Lansing.
“We want to bring a national championship to East Lansing and be in the conversation year in and year out. There’s obviously a commitment to that.”
Tucker says again he believes MSU is a destination job and not a stepping stone. "We want to bring a national championship to East Lansing and be in the conversation year in and year out. There's obviously a commitment to that."
