This past Sunday was a great day to be a fan of the Detroit Lions and a not so great day if you are a fan of the Atlanta Falcons.
But for Falcons’ RB Todd Gurley, it was a day he wishes never happened.
As you have seen by now, rather than going down and allowing the Falcons to run down the clock before kicking a chip shot game-winning field goal, Gurley made the huge mistake of scoring a touchdown. By scoring, Gurley single-handily gave the Lions an opportunity to score the game-winning touchdown, which is exactly what ended up happening.
Now, some mic’d up footage has emerged of Falcons QB Matt Ryan telling Gurley to get down and not to score a touchdown.
