Michigan Football head coach Jim Harbaugh put to rest any rumors that he was plotting a return to the NFL last week, penning a letter to player parents which said the rumors are “total crap” and an “annual strategy driven by our enemies”.
He clarified during a press conference on Monday that the letter was never meant for public consumption. He also added a bit of context to his original wording, specifically pointing out who he was talking about when using the term “enemies”.
Harbaugh on calling those trafficking in rumors of his alleged interest in the NFL 'enemies': "the letter wasn't for public consumption… but maybe 'those who choose not to tell the truth' would have been more appropriate"
