Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh talks ‘Jump Around’ moment during win over Wisconsin

Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines improved to a perfect 5-0 for the first time since 2016 on Saturday thanks to an offensive onslaught against the Wisconsin Badgers. It was also their first victory at Camp Randall Stadium since November of 2001.

Not only this, but Harbaugh also claimed his first victory as an underdog since his return to Ann Arbor, having previously gone 0-12 in such games. Of course, one of the notable moments during the contest was Michigan’s players taking the lyrics of House of Pain’s hit song “Jump Around” literally.

“That was au naturale, it happened,” Harbaugh said. “We had talked about earlier in the week when you go on the road, you want to embrace that environment and make their crowds cheer like it was your crowd – make their music your music. We played that song quite a bit during the week…I think they just made it theirs in that moment.”

The Wolverines will put their undefeated record to the test next week with a matchup against Nebraska.
