On New Year’s Eve, the Michigan Wolverines will take on TCU in the College Football Playoff semifinals at the Fiesta Bowl. With a win, the Wolverines would advance to their first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Leading up to the game, Wolverines DL Kris Jenkins spoke to reporters and announced his NFL decision.
Will Kris Jenkins return to Michigan for the 2023 season?
On Thursday, Jenkins spoke to The Michigan Insider and he made it very clear that he will be returning to Michigan for the 2023 season.
“Oh yeah, for sure,” Jenkins told. “For sure.”
He continued: “I wasn’t about to make it a surprise. I was flattered so many people were asking. But there’s more I want to do. I still want to develop. Still want to grow. And I love this place. I mean, shoot. Why not?”
This is obviously great news for the Wolverines as Jenkins has been a force on the defensive line. In fact, he earned an All-Big Ten honorable mention selection for his play in 2022.
