Michigan’s wide receiver room just got a little thinner. A team spokesman confirmed to Wolverines Wire that Fredrick Moore is no longer with the Wolverines after seeing limited action this season.

Moore, a former three-star recruit, entered 2025 with the expectation of competing for a bigger role in the passing game. Instead, he found himself mostly on special teams. According to PFF, he logged 18 snaps at wide receiver and 45 on special teams over four games, recording just one tackle and zero catches.
That’s a steep drop from last season, when Moore was more involved in the offense. As a sophomore in 2024, he finished fourth on the team with 128 receiving yards on 11 receptions.
For now, Michigan will look to its deep receiver group to step up, but Moore’s departure is another reminder of how quickly roles can shift in college football.
