Inside the Article:
According to a report from Matt Zenitz, Jim Harbaugh is expected to bring back a familiar face to the Michigan football program for the 2023 season. Zenitz reported on Monday that the Wolverines are expected to hire Chris Partridge as an assistant coach. Partridge, who was the defensive coordinator for Ole Miss in 2022, coached with the Wolverines from 2015-2019.

Why it Matters for Michigan and Chris Partridge
This is a huge hire for Harbaugh as Partridge was considered one of the top recruiters in the nation during his time with the Wolverines. During his first stint in Ann Arbor, Partridge was a director of player personnel, while also coaching the safeties and special teams. Over the past eight recruitment cycles, Partridge was either a lead or secondary recruiter for 38 four- or five-star recruits who joined Michigan or Ole Miss.
