Michigan continues to reload its quarterback room through the transfer portal.

According to Anthony Broome, the Wolverines have landed former LSU quarterback Colin Hurley, a former four-star recruit with four years of eligibility remaining. Hurley becomes the latest signal-caller to commit to Michigan as the program looks to build long-term depth and competition at the position.

Hurley, a Jacksonville, Florida native and product of Trinity Christian Academy, checks in at 6-foot-1, 218 pounds. Coming out of high school, he was rated as one of the top quarterback prospects in the country and signed with LSU as part of a highly regarded recruiting class.

While his time on the field in Baton Rouge was limited, Hurley arrives in Ann Arbor with upside and developmental potential. As a transfer, he is rated an 85 by 247Sports and ranked among the top quarterbacks in the portal for the 2026 cycle. As a high school prospect, he carried a 90 rating and was considered one of the top quarterbacks in the Southeast.

With Michigan adding another talented arm, the Wolverines continue to stockpile young quarterbacks who can compete now and develop for the future, giving the coaching staff flexibility and long-term stability at the most important position on the field.
