Sometimes for soon-to-be college athletes, all it takes is that one and only visit to a university before making their decision on where to continue playing. For Saline High School linebacker Tyler Plocki, a recent trip to Michigan was more than enough for him to decide.
Plocki announced on Sunday that he will be attending Michigan in the fall of 2017 and play football as a preferred walk-on.

Plocki stands 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds. A three-year member of the varsity football team at Saline, he helped lead the Hornets to three consecutive playoff runs. This past year, Saline made it all the way to the Regional Finals of Division 1 before losing to eventual champion Cass Tech.
Plocki, who becomes the eighth commit from the Mitten for the University of Michigan made an unofficial visit to the school this past Saturday the 28th and announced his commitment just 24 hours later. The addition of Plocki gives the Wolverines now 26 commits for the Class of 2017, 11 of which have already enrolled early at the school. It’s a class that still ranks top-5 in the country. Plocki is also the third insider linebacker to pledge, along with 4-star linebacker Josh Ross out of St. Mary’s Prep, and 3-star Ben Mason (Sandy Hook, CT), an early enrollee.
