With their 42-27 win over Ohio State on Saturday, the Michigan Wolverines finished the regular season with an unexpected 11-1 record and a berth in the Big Ten Championship game.
Those accomplishments would not have been attained had it not been for senior EDGE, Aiden Hutchinson.
On Monday, Harbaugh was asked to give his pitch for Hutchinson for the Heisman Trophy and while doing so, he said that both Hutchinson and senior RB Hassan Haskins should be in consideration for the Heisman.
From Wolverines Wire:
“The records he’s set — there’s been some awfully good players here at Michigan that haven’t done what Aidan Hutchinson has done. Just read one where he had 15 pressures on the quarterback — never been done since they’ve been keeping track of that statistic. He is, and I’ve said it about Hassan Haskins, those two players — Hassan Haskins, Aidan Hutchinson — I think very much should be in consideration for the Heisman Trophy. I think you’ll see it.
Nation, do you think Michigan will have a player invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremony?
