On Saturday, both Michigan and Michigan State will open up their Big 10 slates. The Wolverines will host Nebraska at the Big House while the Spartans travel to Indiana to take on the Hoosiers.
Michigan will look to build on their two-game winning streak which they have put together after dropping their season opener on the road to Notre Dame. According to the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas, the Wolverines are an 18-point favorite over the Cornhuskers. Nebraska is 0-2 to start the season, including a 24-19 loss to Troy this past Saturday.

Michigan State, following their bye week, will look to rebound after a tough road loss to Arizona State. They will square off against Indiana in what will be the second-straight road game for the Spartans. According to the Golden Nugget, Michigan State is a 4.5-point favorite over the Hoosiers. Indiana is 3-0 to open up the season, including wins over FIU, Virginia, and Ball State.

On Sunday, the Detroit Lions looked like absolute garbage for over three quarters in their 30-27 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. In fact, with 10:32 left in the contest, the Lions trailed 30-13 and it looked like a certainty that they would be blown out for a second-straight week.
But that is when the play happened that just may turn around the season for the Motor City Kitties. (Ok, maybe not, but stick with me for a moment). On 2nd and 10 at the Lions 30-yard line, Matthew Stafford dropped back to pass but felt pressure and had to take off running. As Stafford approached the first down marker, he was shoved out of bounds by 49ers defensive back Elijah Lee.
