Michigan offensive lineman Jeff Persi is entering the transfer portal, according to multiple reports on Wednesday morning. Persi, a 6-8 graduate lineman, made his debut appearance for the Wolverines against Northern Illinois in 2021. After a quiet freshman year, he played in just two games during his first season but was utilized more in his sophomore year. In 2022, Persi saw significant playing time, participating in all 14 games for Michigan.

With one year of eligibility remaining, Persi will likely look for an opportunity at another school where he can secure a starting role. Over his career at Michigan, Persi has appeared in 38 games, including three starts at left tackle. As he explores his options, we wish him the best of luck in finding a new program where he can continue to develop and make an impact.
