Michigan Panthers of USFL hire Super Bowl head coach Jeff Fisher

According to the Michigan Panthers of the USFL, they have hired Jeff Fisher to be their head coach.

Fisher, who last coached in the NFL in 2016, took the Tennessee Titans all the way to the Super Bowl at the end of the 1999 season, only to come up just short against the Rams.

During his NFL coaching career, which lasted 22 seasons, he compiled a record 173-165-1.

The USFL, which has a total of eight teams, is set to begin a 10-game schedule in April.
