Michigan president Santa Ono releases statement regarding Jim Harbaugh

Where will Jim Harbaugh coach in 2023? Yep, that is a question that has to be answered once again, despite Harbaugh saying in 2022 that he is done flirting with the NFL and that he would remain the head coach at Michigan. Harbaugh has reportedly completed a 2-hour virtual interview with the Denver Broncos and there has been plenty of speculation that he will leave for the NFL if he is offered a job. Just moments ago, Michigan President Santa Ono released a statement regarding Harbaugh.

What did Michigan President Santa Ono say about Jim Harbaugh?

On Thursday, Ono released a statement and he had the following to say about Harbaugh.

“I pleased to share that I have been having very positive and constructive conversations with our Athletic Director and Football Coach. Warde Manuel and I both want to see Jim Harbaugh stay as the head football coach of the University of Michigan Wolverines.”

Harbaugh has had plenty of success in the NFL, but he has not yet won a Super Bowl. Whether or not that (or a number of other factors) is enough to get him to leave the Wolverines will be interesting to see.

Nation, do you think Harbaugh will remain head coach of the Wolverines in 2023?
