Michigan QB Cade McNamara says Wolverines not content despite blowout victory

It was simply no contest this afternoon at The Big House.

The Michigan Wolverines overwhelmed Northern Illinois, running for 373 yards as a team and packing 63 points on the board en route to a 63-10 victory, improving to 3-0 overall in 2021.

Blake Corum ran 13 times for 123 yards and three touchdowns, while Donovan Edwards ran eight times for 86 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Cade McNamara, who was 8-for-11 for 191 yards and one touchdown, gave way to J.J. McCarthy in the third quarter.

But for McNamara, he explained afterwards that despite the massive win, his team isn’t content.

He also explained the expectations of himself from the Michigan coaching staff:

But of course, at the end of the day, only one thing matters.
