What did J.J. McCarthy say following Michigan’s loss to TCU?

Following the Wolverines’ tough loss to TCU, McCarthy met with the media, and, not surprisingly, he began by giving credit to his opponent.

“All credit to them,” said McCarthy. “They won the game in the 60 minutes that were played. They’re a good football team. No matter what it is, they got the win.”

So, what comes next? Like last year, McCarthy said the Wolverines will be back.

“Fought our hearts out. There’s a lot of things that we could have done better. Can’t wait to watch the tape. But we’ll be back, and I promise that.”

During the game, McCarthy was 20-of-34 or 343 yards and two touchdowns to go along with two pick-six interceptions. He also carried the ball 10 times for 52 yards and a touchdown.
