Everybody thought Michigan would beat Michigan State on Saturday except for one group of people. That group was the Spartans players and coaches and they proved themselves right by beating Michigan 27-24 at the Big House.
One of the main reasons why MSU was able to slow down the Wolverines offense was the play of MSU LB, Antjuan Simmons, who was seemingly on every tackle the Spartans had during the game.
Following the game, Michigan QB Joe Milton was asked if he knew Simmons was so good and his response was a bit concerning.
“I wasn’t really worried about him. He’s a heck of a player, but he wasn’t really on my radar,” Milton told reporters.

After catching wind of Milton’s comment, Simmons responded.
“It doesn’t matter. Paulie B. is back with us. I don’t care if I’m on Joe Milton’s radar or not,” Simmons said to reporters.
Can somebody please explain how one of the best players in Saturday’s game was not on the starting quarterback’s radar?
