During this past week, Michigan RB Blake Corum made the news and it was for something that had nothing to do with playing football. Instead, Corum was in Ypsilanti, MI to give away 100 Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need.
Corum used money he made from his Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) earnings to purchase the turkeys.
On Wednesday, Corum joined Michael Strahan on Good Morning America and Corum said he plans to do things like this througout the year, including doing a Christmas giveaway.
Corum also talked about how he wants to do whatever he can to help young people realize their dreams.
“Football is my passion but giving back is my purpose,” Corum said.
Well done, Blake! Thank you for making us proud!
