The new-look staff of Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh continues to take shape, and they’re reportedly zeroing in on a new co-defensive coordinator.
Per multiple reports, the Wolverines are set to bring aboard Maurice “Mo” Linguist as the team’s co-defensive coordinator, though a formal announcement hasn’t been made yet.
He’ll be paired up with Mike Macdonald, whom the Wolverines recently hired as defensive coordinator from the Baltimore Ravens.
Linguist is well traveled, having served as cornerbacks coach at Texas A&M in 2018 and 2019, defensive backs coach at Minnesota in 2017, and safeties coach at Mississippi State in 2016.
