If you are a fan of Michigan basketball and you happened to watch Tuesday night’s game vs. Wisconsin, you got quite the treat as the No. 7 Wolverines absolutely destroyed the No. 9 Badgers by a score of 77-54.
But, that score really does not indicate how badly Michigan beat Wisconsin as the Wolverines were actually up by 40 points at one point during the second half.
The win was not only the Wolverines’ third consecutive win over a ranked team but it was their third-consecutive win over a ranked opponent by 19 or more points.
According to ESPN, Michigan is the first team in college basketball history to win three straight games against ranked teams by 19 or more points.
Ladies and gentlemen, this team is for real.
