On Wednesday, Michigan State head basketball coach Tom Izzo met with the media and he revealed the MSU basketball program “had a couple of cases” of COVID-19 that set them back a little bit following strong workouts in July and August.
Izzo noted that “for the last two weeks, we’ve been kind of COVID-free.” Izzo did not identify if the positive tests came from players or coaches.
